STEFANO MAZZANTI

Stefano Mazzanti is a visual artist and lighting designer. For several years he has been conducting research in the field of the expressive and artistic use of light.

He graduated from DAMS with a thesis dedicated to the language of light and for several years he has followed, as an assistant, one of the best professionals of the sector: lighting designer Gigi Saccomandi.

He has published the book Luce in Scena (“Lights on the stage”), specially dedicated to theatrical illumination and has held numerous classes on the subject.

He holds the position of professor of Illuminotecnica and Light Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti S.Giulia di Brescia.
