CIDNEON 2019
ITALIAN ICONS, BETWEEN MYTHS AND WONDERS
This is the theme of the third edition of “CidneOn – Festival Internazionale delle Luci”, a homage to Italy with light arts, video shows and mapping, interactive operas and live musical performances that tell the story of people, places, symbols of an unlimited history of art and beauty.
The successful pairing of Brescia Castle and light art will be renewed with an original and spectacular itinerary that will accompany the spectators from the prehistoric caverns of the Valle Camonica to the famous monuments, it will lead them to look afresh at fashion and design, it will win them over with original productions capable of reinterpreting with unedited visual languages art, literature, music and cinema rewriting the myth of Italy as a cultural superpower.
In the five hundredth anniversary of his death a special homage will be paid to Leonardo da Vinci in the form of an installation that will open the itinerary of the 2019 edition, creatively exploring the technical and artistic wonders originating from his manifold talents.

With the third edition CidneOn wants to make the Castle a truly magical place and more enjoyable for the public. Taking into consideration the high influx of spectators, the ISEO SERRATURE SMART KEY was introduced for the last festival, a suggestion that, in advance sale on-line, giving easy access to the Castle and avoid the long queues at the free entrance.
To obtain the “2019” Iseo smart key the Official Catalogue can be bought at the cost of €8, advance sale on-line, where all the details of the festival and the works of the international artists can be found. However during the festival there will still be an Info Point at the foot of the Castle where it will be possible to obtain the ISEO SERRATURE SMART KEY.
