GIANCARLO FACCHINETTI (1936-2017)

Giancarlo Facchinetti who has a diploma in Composition, Piano, orchestral Conducting, Choral Music and Choir conducting is from Brescia and one of the most important Brescian composers of the 20th and 21st centuries; he has taught at the Conservatories of Parma, Verona, Bolzano and Brescia where he was also the Director.

He has composed grand operas and symphonies and devoted himself in particular to chamber music, performed in almost all of Europe and during various international festivals.

For around forty years he was the composer of sound tracks, working with the best Italian actors and directors.
